Introduction to The Golf Club of Amelia:

The Golf Club of Amelia Island is one of the most recognised brands on Amelia Island and the myweb refresh team were delighted to have been approached to redesign their website. Like most other myweb refresh sites - there were a number of unique elements to the design including a hole-by-hole overview of the Course, integration of a live camera at the 18th hole and a complex animated intro movie on the home page.

Hole by Hole Overview:

The team were able to produce an 18 hole overview of the course using javascript technology to ensure that a simple rollover of each hole would produce a seamless change in the information presented to the site visitor.

Integration of Live Camera:

A live camera feed at the 18th hole of the Golf Club of Amelia Island was also incorporated into the new website design.

Home Page Animation:

The myweb refresh graphic design team combined real imagery of the golf course with golf animation to produce an attractive and effective opening movie for people visiting the website for the first time.

Wedding Expo Micro Site 2011:

After the main website was launched the Golf Club asked myweb refresh produce a special microsite to support the annual Wedding Expo which is held at the Club. This microsite has been very successful and led to increased sign up rates during the first few weeks of its launch.
