Introduction to World Atlas:

With 9000 pages and over 3 million unique visitors per month - myweb refresh is delighted to be the official web designer for World Atlas. The project which is now 12 months old involves the entire redesign of a website which has existed since 1995. The complexity of such a redesign has brought many challenges to the myweb refresh team but we are pleased to say the project to date has been a great success. The redesign of World Atlas is forecast to be in progress until mid 2011.

Php scripting and iphone/ipad compatability:

Part of the redesign of the World Atlas site involved switching the system to a new improved server which would allow the myweb team to develop advanced php scripting throughout the site. An example of such scripting includes the new world timeclock which now automatically updates to adjust to daylight savings time throughout the year.

Another important element of the site has been to address iphone and ipad compatability issues. The myweb team have developed the new World Atlas pages to be completely compatible with the latest Apple and other Smartphone technology.
